The CE is the base model of the 2003 Toyota Corolla. It is powered by a 1.8-liter engine rated at 130 horsepower (at 6000rpm). A four-speed automatic transmission with overdrive is optional while a five-speed manual overdrive transmission is standard. Fuel economy is good at 29-32 mpg on city and 38-40 on highway.
