1984 Toyota Corolla

The 1984 Toyota Corolla was the fifth generation of this best selling compact sedan. For this model year, the front-drive Corolla sedan was introduced. The 1984 edition had a 1.6 liter, SOHC engine also found in rear -wheel drive Corollas. Transmission options include five-speed manual and four-speed automatic. In mid-1984, the rear drive Corolla coupe and lift back featured a new dual overhead cam, 16 valve version of the 1.6 liter four cylinder engine rated at 124 hp.
